Our goal is to create a joyful, inclusive, and musically rich environment for every family: - Participate with your child – Caregivers are active participants, modeling music-making and helping children feel comfortable, confident, and engaged. - Follow your child's lead – Children learn in their own way. Whether they're singing, moving, or quietly observing, all participation is meaningful. - Respect the space – Help your child use instruments appropriately and be mindful of others' bodies and personal space during movement. - Limit distractions – Keep side conversations to a minimum and silence/put away phones so everyone can stay present and immersed in the music. - No food in class – Please feel comfortable to nurse or bottle-feed your child in class, but we ask that you not bring food or drink into classrooms. - Siblings welcome – When needed, older siblings may attend but must be closely supervised to help maintain a safe and focused environment. Please inform your teacher if an older sibling will attend a class. - Stay home if sick – If you or your child are unwell, please stay home to help protect the health of our class community. - Enjoy the process – There's no expectation to perform. This is a pressure-free space to explore, play, and grow through music together.
In the event of severe weather or unforeseen emergencies, class cancellations will be communicated via email and/or GroupMe. We follow local school and safety guidelines when making closure decisions.
Each class time requires a minimum of 4 families to run. If the minimum is not met by one week before the first class, you will be contacted with options — including moving to the other class time or receiving a full refund. In some cases, classes may be combined.
